BREAK! pt. 1
Well hello again, everyone! My two week break flew by, let me tell ya. It began with a road trip to Auckland, a flight to Sydney (Australia, of course), and a week on the South Island. As soon as we got back - school hit hard! Sorry for the delay! I want to start by covering my trip through the North Island. I encountered some amazing foods and some amazing views. For this first leg of our journey, we rented a car and drove up the North Island. The roads here are crazy - the wind and curve like none other, and they are SO tiny. I drove most of this portion, so I got a real taste of driving on the other side of the road... I'm getting used to looking the opposite direction and driving in the right ride of the car on the left ride of the road. Honestly though, I still get the opposing windshield wipers and turn signals mixed up quite often! :) Our first night we spent in Rotorua.
